Regenerative Livestyle Blog

About

Clarisse is the golden duck pictured above who arrived limping in our garden one day in 2009. I’ve checked all the wildlife books and asked several bird lovers and could not identify her so came to the conclusion that she’s an albino mallard as her boyfriend was a standard mallard duck… Let me know if you’d have other ideas about her.

This eco-family blog, initially called Wildclarisse blog, was started to celebrate her. It then reflected my learning for the Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Practice that I studied from 2011 to 2013 via Otago Polytech, including my “learning journal entries”. I went on posting things I wanted to share or/and remember, my open letter to leaders, thoughts and tips. A lot is about sustainable practice, at the individual or community level, and beyond.

Since November 2022, it is renamed Regenerative Lifestyle Blog as a place where I share all this accumulated learning, practice and passion. I met many people who want to live in harmony with nature but do not know where to start. For us, it has been finetuned for years so it is easy. Our times call for change and I dare to share, with love, for love.

Hi Gary I have come on here to see the picture of your Duck, she is beautiful. Phil says she is an unusual colour. I have read some of your blog, I think you are already a good writer. I look forward to seeing you and Maia again on Tuesday. With love your “Tuesday Wendy”
